Happy Saturday..good morning!! I slept in a little bit today, didn’t get to bed until late…but I slept sooo good. Ahhh..love a good nights sleep!
I had a fun Friday night. Met up with friends for dinner and then we went down to the drag strip here in Phoenix to watch people drag race their cars. It was pretty interesting. Something different is always fun! The car I really wanted to see race, pooped out and had to be towed off. I was bummed. It was a Supra and I bet it was SUPER fast. I think the fastest car was 136 in 10 or 11 seconds and that was a black Mustang. There were some motorcycles that went faster, but no surprise. Those crotch rockets are called that for a reason. lol
I can’t wait for the Funny Cars and Dragsters to come …now talk about FUN! Go John Force! 🙂
My favorite day of the week has arrived. SATURDAY!!!!! It is early so I don’t really know my plans for the day yet. I do know I have to work out, especially after dinner last night. Plus I had two glasses of wine and a beer at the races. Yuk..I am not a big beer lover, but you can see that I am drinking one in my pic. HaHa! That was all they had. I tried to take a bunch of pics to share with you all, but it was so dark that my camera was having a hard time focusing. I needed to adjust it. Oh well..I did get one! 🙂 The cars lined up behind me were the cars that were going to race. YES even trucks raced! A few trucks rocked, they were fast!
