Still cold in the desert…yuk!
Good morning!! Guess what? It’s still freezing over here!! Now they are saying one more night which will be 5 nights in a row it has hit below freezing! This totally sucks! People’s pipes, pools and fountains are freezing like crazy! I have my pipes wrapped in blankets and seems to be doing the trick. Knock on wood! 🙂 Not to mention all the trees and plants that are dying. So many people losing their fruits..so sad!! Most of my trees are covered and the covered branches are surviving..but barely. Even they look unhappy! The uncovered branches are now brown and dead. Shit! I will be happy if I can at least save some of them. Boy..never know what Mother Nature has in store for us! I know things could be worse!! We still have some of the best weather!! It is supposed to hit the 70’s on Thursday..Hip Hip Hooray!! Now that’s more like it!! 🙂
I have been so busy getting ready for my trip to Vegas. Fun times coming!! I will be sure to take some pics and tweet some too!! Be sure you are following me!! 🙂
You know it’s cold when my hummingbird feeder freezes. I walked right up to the hummingbird, I think he was too cold to fly away. ha! Such a little cutie!!
