Hey hey ….good morning everyone! 🙂 It’s a beautiful morning in CA! I have my office windows open soaking it all up. I was out yesterday and it was 93 degrees! Yikes! It actually felt hotter because of the humidity. Everyone is saying I brought the heat from AZ with me. hehe! 😉 At least it is cooling down in the 80’s and 70’s now. Yay! My kind of weather. I can definitely see why people want to live here. It’s gorgeous and there is so much to see and do. We have been getting out a little bit more to explore. I met up with friends on Sunday for brunch and we went to an amazing restaurant with such a pretty view. I love that kind of thing! 🙂 It’s the small things that make me happy! Life is too short.

Good afternoon!! I have to admit I am happy to see a new month!! August was exhausting!!! Don’t get me wrong, it was a good month, but so busy. I haven’t been that drained in a long time, if ever! I knew moving would be stressful… I am just so happy I am feeling more like myself every day. It is an adjustment that’s for sure. I am not one to think the grass is greener. That is not why we moved to CA. We moved for several reasons, but mostly because we wanted change. I do feel myself missing some things about AZ. I suppose that is normal, right? I mean my family is there, but the funny thing is I talk to my family more now than when I lived there. I seriously miss my gym!!! The one I signed up for sucks! They have a million locations all over, but they are so shitty!! The one I originally signed up with is the nicest one for sure. I have been trying different locations and they are horrible. Old, dark and dirty! Good thing I didn’t sign a contract so I can leave anytime. I will be searching for a new gym sooner than later. That is important to me. 🙂

I went to my first party..Yay! Hustler launched their new vodka. It was a fun time…and the vodka was good of course!! 😉

It was a lot of fun hanging out in Hollywood on Sunset Blvd. Now that my life is starting to be more “normal” Buzz and I can go venture out and see more of what CA has to offer. It is super hot here lately, I honestly feel like I am back in AZ. I think today is the last day of this heat. I hope! I didn’t move here to have the same hot temps as AZ.

I totally forgot it’s a holiday weekend. I need to get some stuff done around the house, but I will try and plan some swim/ cookout time too. 🙂 🙂 🙂 My dog Tony died a year ago on the 3rd. Ugh, I miss him so much. 🙁 I think back to a year ago and how so many things have changed. Life is crazy, isn’t it? It’s so very short so go out and do what makes you happy!! I hope you all have a wonderful weekend ahead!

Good morning!!! Buzz and I finally got out and did some CA exploring yesterday…it’s going to take awhile to get used to it here. It is very different than what we are used to. We are figuring out the traffic and when NOT to drive, good thing is we don’t have to. Makes a huge difference! 🙂 I think we will venture out on the weekdays and work on the weekends. Smart huh? 😉 We went for a hike yesterday morning in Malibu, it was so peaceful and quiet. Just what I needed!!!!!! Just to be out in nature makes me happy! We drove in to Santa Monica and enjoyed lunch and the ocean. It was windy and a bit chilly for me, my desert bones aren’t used to that. hehe!! After living in a dry state for 22 years it is strange to have humidity. It’s not terrible, just different. I think it will be good for my skin, but not my hair so much. I have naturally curly hair so it might be a challenge to keep it straight. I might even cut it short!! What do you guys think??? Something different…why not my life has changed big time!

I am almost done unpacking…almost! We downsized from our house in AZ and it is difficult to find room for all our stuff. We gave away and sold SOOOO much that I didn’t think I would still have a challenge with finding room. Just going from a 4 car garage to a 2 car is strange. The houses are super expensive here, WOW! We won’t be buying a house anytime soon, I do know that. We signed a year lease so we will be moving around a lot to find our spot. It takes time to figure out where you belong. Ya know? I do know I will end up in the mountains some day. My dream! I haven’t spent much time around the ocean except on vacation, but I will. I think I am more of a mountain girl than ocean….but never know. I will find out. 🙂

It will be an adventure for sure. Life is too short!! Get out and enjoy! Here are a few pics I took yesterday. I didn’t take many, but I will be sharing more as time goes.
