Wow..another rainy day in the desert. I think tomorrow the sun is supposed to shine again. 🙂 I played yesterday so today I have to get some work done. I had a fun afternoon with mom …we had a nice lunch and went shopping. Can never complain about that. 🙂 I did find a few sweaters, that’s really all I wanted. I held myself back from buying shoes. It was hard, but I did it. lol! I am such a “shoeaholic”…better than an alcoholic. ha!

Last night I wrapped all my gifts so I am pretty much ready for Christmas…I still need to pick up a few goodies at the grocery store. I am excited for Christmas!! Christmas Eve will be fun too, we are going out to dinner for a family birthday. I made reservations several weeks ago. They called me yesterday and told me that we have a time limit of 2 hours. I thought that was a little weird, but I guess I understand. Some people sit around for hours after they eat and chit chat..while others are trying to get tables. I always try and be thoughtful of others, but unfortunately not everyone does.

Last night I finished one of my house projects that I have been working on. Whew! I can’t wait to fill my new Claw foot bathtub up with lots of bubbles and shoot for you guys!!! This bathroom turned out even better than I imagined. I am very happy with the way it looks. 🙂 On to the next project.

Good morning!! This day is flying by..which is a good thing considering it is a Monday. lol! I have never been a fan of Mondays! I always want the weekend to last just a little bit longer. Even now that I work at home, I still feel that way. Speaking of weekends..did you enjoy yours?? I hope so!! Mine was good! I really enjoyed relaxing a bit yesterday. I snuggled up on the couch and watched a movie and a little football. I couldn’t believe how nice it felt to do absolutely nothing!! I knew this week was going to be busy so I enjoyed it even more. One more busy week for me..and thank God next week is somewhat back to normal. Geesh what a nutty time! Next week is Christmas..Yay!! I did get my tree last night. 🙂 I invited my family over for lasagna and we decorated the tree. It was fun! It is so pretty and smells so good. I noticed it was a little dry so I will be sure to give it lots of water. I didn’t do any type of theme this year..the tree is just kind of mix of everything from the past years. I kind of like doing certain colors or themes, I am so anal sometimes. Ugh!! I love the way it looks though. 🙂 I opened my Christmas boxes last night to get out all the decor and the angel that goes on top of the tree was in a million pieces. Looks like I didn’t pack that very good. OOPS! I put a little gold star on top, but the tree is too big for a tiny little star so I must venture out and find a new topper.

Today I have lots of work to accomplish and I need to get my ass to the gym for a major workout and extra cardio. Omg, the food has been soooo good lately..but soooo bad! ‘Tis the season.

I had a nice Friday. After my lunch meeting I went shopping. I did find some more gifts, but still not done. I might do the rest of my shopping online as long as it can be shipped in time. I went out for a few drinks and tacos last night. It was so beautiful outside, as you can see I took another sunset pic. Gorgeous!! It was a fun day. Not so fun today…so I better get going. Have a fab Saturday!
