Good morning everyone!! 🙂 I hope you had a wonderful weekend! Mine was great, I am enjoying my summer. (heat and all) I am pretty sure this August has been the hottest one since I have lived here. I am spending a lot of time in the pool with Buzz and my fur babies…been grilling out a lot of delicious food too. I am trying not to eat out as much. I have been working out religiously at the gym again and it feels awesome!! I enjoyed a road trip with my parents this weekend. We took them up North for some goodies. Every summer we pick our own tomatoes right off the vine, they are YUMMMY! We got some other veggies, but they were out of corn. Bummer! I think we will take another trip up there in September…it’s only a little over an hour drive. It was a fun day…we stopped and had lunch at a local brewery. I just love visiting small towns like that. Yesterday my family came over to swim and we made BLT’s. I am thinking of having another one for breaky. hehe! A little kitty made his way into my garage on Friday morning. It was so weird, I left the side door open for him to leave any time he wanted to, but he stayed ALL day. I of course fed him and gave him water, but he wouldn’t let me get close to him. A long story short..we couldn’t leave him in the garage all night, it would have been way too hot. Buzz caught him, put him into my cats crate and he slept in the laundry room. Early Saturday morning we drove him down to the Humane Society and guess what? They told us he has already been neutered and to let him go where we found him. It’s a program called TNR (trap, neuter and return) I was like what? I have never heard of that before. His ear was clipped and he was a feral cat. That would explain why he was soooo not friendly, downright mean. We were just trying to do the right thing and save him. We literally have bobcats that come into our backyard…kind of scary just letting him go. I just love all animals and always want to help them as much as I can. We let him go out our front yard and he ran up the street. Live and learn ..right?

Good afternoon everyone!! 😉 I hope you are enjoying your weekend so far!! I am a busy bee playing catch up. I just got back from a little trip to Mexico! 🙂 It was a blast!! Here are some pics I wanted to share.  Today is a very special day…Tony turned 13 today. As you know I was not expecting him to make it to 13 so I am very happy!! He is doing good still, it would be really amazing if he made it to 14. Wow! I will take what I can get..day by day, right? 😉 I am going to buy him a big ole bone today..spoil him a little extra. I am off to work now, enjoy your Saturday!

Good morning peeps!! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! 😉 It feels like Monday to me..probably because I just got back from CA. We had a fun little getaway from the desert. It was weird weather though, it rained like crazy every day we were there…which was ok really. I like the rain!! 🙂 We still got out and enjoyed outdoor activities. We met up with some friends that we haven’t seen in over 2 years..it was so great to catch up. We had to take a detour on the way home because a bridge collapsed on the I-10 just West of the Arizona border. Ugh! It was not as bad as I first thought, it took an extra hour and a half to get home. It actually wasn’t a bad highway and it was really pretty, we drove through the sand dunes which is super cool. Luckily we left Los Angeles early in the AM and missed most of the traffic. I heard on the news that the Interstate will be close for weeks and maybe a month. What a mess..thanks Mother Nature. 😉 She can be crazy at times. lol
