Good morning!!! 🙂 A BIG HAPPY FRIDAY TO YOU ALL!! Are you ready for a fun weekend? Don’t forget your dad…ya know Sunday is Fathers Day!! I have a really busy weekend actually, but if you know me..I always make time for FUN! I think my family is all going out for a big ole pizza party to celebrate. Yum! 😉 It has been really hot in the desert…around 105-115 depending on what part of the valley you live in. My area is always a little cooler because I am higher up in elevation. Hey..that 5-10 degrees makes a difference. 🙂 The humidity has been low so honestly it doesn’t feel THAT hot. Not yet…once the storms come in July then it just sucks. lol! Oh well..a few hot months out of the year aren’t too bad. That is why we have air conditioning, a pool and the mountains to escape to. Speaking of the mountains, I had a great trip!!! We rented a cabin this trip and met up with friends. They stayed in their RV. It was a blast! The weather was perfect..in the high 70’s and low 80’s. It sprinkled a few times …which I always find romantic. No bad storms like they predicted. Here are some pics I wanted to share. I got my nature fix for awhile!! 3 Years ago today…..

Hey everyone!! Happy Friday to you all! Today is a little sad for me because it has been 3 years since my Josie died. 🙁 I can say time has helped me…at least now I can smile when I see her photos instead of cry. I miss her so much, not a day goes by I don’t think of her. Of course I think of my other 2 fur babies just as much. I miss them all!! Tony is hanging in there …he is happy and is always hungry!! He is getting skinny and having a hard time getting up. Ugh! I am hoping he makes it until August so we can throw him a big happy 13th birthday. Hey..the docs said he would probably die April 2014 so I am super happy I have been blessed with him so long. I treasure every day with him. 🙂 I am off in a few days to play in the mountains. Yay…can’t wait! I need my nature fix really bad. I will be sure to post some pics to twitter IF I have a connection. K? I want to share the beauty!! 😉 Things are heating up in the desert…I heard 108-110 in the next few days. Ouch..summer is here!!! I went swimming last night and the water is already pretty warm…which I like! Rocky, my cat went swimming with Buzz and I last night..soooo cute! We had fun..swimming and grilling out. June Has Arrived!!

Good morning everyone! Happy June 1st!! Summer has arrived in the desert, it was 108 yesterday at my parents house, it was 100 when I left my house yesterday and I just kept watching the temp gauge on car go up up up! We live at a higher elevation and it is always 5-10 degrees cooler at my house. Honestly it doesn’t make much of a difference..hot is hot! Trust me when I say it feels HOT, but not that hot. The real heat doesn’t hit until July when the humidity goes up. It’s ok..I can handle it. I have lived here 20 years ..I am used to it. I am going to try and plan a few mini vacations to escape the summer heat, that helps! 🙂 I am missing the mountains big time..I need to go camping, I need my nature fix. 🙂 I hope you all had a great weekend. Mine was good. I did a ton of chores around my house on Saturday then took my first dip in my pool, the water is warming up nicely. Our cat went swimming, but the dogs didn’t. Hmm something is wrong with that picture. hehe! Rocky is a great swimmer and so rare that cats likes water. Isn’t it? He seriously thinks he is a dog. He copies all my dogs actions..it is totally cute. Such a great baby! I just got an email from my vet this morning with a Happy Birthday to Neo. We are not exactly sure when his bday is because we adopted him, but either way…he is 10 years old now. Oh my babies are getting old. I hate that. I wished they lived longer. Last night Buzz and I took my parents out for dinner …Yum! Mom and I enjoyed a margarita…just one because they were way too sweet for me. I don’t normally like fruity drinks. Family time is sooooo important to me…they are both in their 70’s so I want to be sure to spend as much quality time I can with them. Funny how priorities change in life. This crazy thing called “life!”

Here is a pic of Mia lounging in my lap all snuggled up outside…I think those days are over until October. She is such a snuggle bug! It will be 3 years in July since we adopted her. Wow..time flies! Ok probably enough babbling for you this morning. hehe!

Hey Hey!

Good morning!! Geesh this morning is flying by and I started work at 6:00 am. Busy busy!! I hope you all had a great weekend and I hope you “moms” had a special day yesterday. Seriously every day should be Mothers Day..but I get the whole “holiday” thing. I enjoyed family time yesterday…we had a huge brunch with mimosas. Yum! It was a beautiful day to spend with the ones I love. 🙂 Let’s see …what else has been going on with me lately??? I took Tony to the vet, it has been over a year that he was diagnosed with a tumor, they didn’t think he would make it a month..and guess what? He is still here!! Yay! They wanted to see him for blood work and urine sample…he is doing great. We are blessed every day he is still with us. I wake up every morning and am thankful for my life..it is so short! You just never know whats next..so live it up while you still can!! 🙂 🙂 I was not going to go out on Cinco De Mayo…but I just couldn’t help myself. lol! Buzz and I went out for a little snack and a few drinks in the afternoon and were home safe before all the craziness began. Have I told you that I am not a fan of crowds? 😉

Not much new with me…just working and playing both. Our weather has been sooooo awesome. 70’s-80’s, some 90’s but back down to the 80’s. Love it!! I am off to Mexico next week. Woohoo!! I hope you all have a wonderful week ahead!
